The most chant we'll ever heard in every wrestling show that host by World Wide Wrestling Federation. Bruno Sammartino is the most popular American wrestler in 1960s.
Its a honor to me to review the figure of the Hall of Famer, BRUNO SAMMARTINO from WWE Mattel Elite Series 25 Flashback.
Before we get started, let me give an introduction, who is Bruno Sammartino.
He is an Italian-born American professional wrestler. He is best known for being the longest-running champion of the World Wide Wrestling Federation (WWWF), holding the title across two reigns for over 11 years (4040 days) in total, as well as the longest single WWE Championship reign in professional wrestling history.
Sammartino's wrestling style was more mat-oriented which was typical of wrestlers from his era. His brawling, power moves, and personal charisma helped him become the most popular American wrestler in the 1960s through the early 1980s. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on April 6, 2013 by his longtime friend, Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Now, I'll start my review on WWE Mattel Elite Series 25 Flashback - BRUNO SAMMARTINO.
This figure is his FIRST Mattel WWE Elite! As we can see, he is blue trunks with black boots.
This figure is includes a Hall of Fame podium and plaque for his acceptance speech. I just feel its better if Mattel includes the 60's WWE Championship belt with this figure. Because he is the longest single WWE Championship reign in professional wrestling history!!!
Now, we look closer on his head scan and his upper body... He comes with a perfect headscan. Once we look at him, we'll know that its a Bruno Sammartino's figure. They sculpt his hair very nice. It looks so real.
For the upper body, Mattel design it with painted chest and arm hair. Even they juz paint it, its look so real. Its really got the Bruno's body....
He is really have such a big body... Chest, torso, shoulder, biceps, arm.. All big!!!
Next, is lower body... as we can see, he is wearing a blue trunks, white socks and black boots. He is got very big legs here... No wonder he can defending his WWE Champion title for 11 years.
For me... this is a must have figs... Because, this is a Living Legend's fig... Bruno Sammartino... Without him, there is no today's pro wrestling... This is one way of our tribute to the legends... How we thanks their effort to entertain us... The wrestling fans!!!
